El Capitan at The Lake

We are open for the 2011 season with a new menu & even more entertainment!

Welcome to El Capitan Mexican Grill, the Lake of the Ozark’s only lakefront Mexican Restaurant.  We are all very excited to open our second restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks.  When we heard that Bambooze was no longer going to continue their lease, we all felt that this was a perfect location for our newest venture.  Having lived just a cove over for my first 8 years at the Lake, I know that this area is a great part of the Lake, with lots of fun-loving people who appreciate great food, great entertainment, and great fun.  We plan on providing just that.

This all began in Key West at the annual Powerboat World Championships as my wife, Nicole learned of the opportunity for us to open a second restaurant.  A few days later I learned of her plan and was told of the new name.  The next day, I presented the plan to the Managers at Captain Ron’s and they were so excited.  They also came up with a name for the Restaurant, and it just happened to be the same.  It was meant to be; El Capitan was born.

We all hope that you will enjoy the food and drinks, the live entertainment and the great place to meet old friends and new ones.  So make yourself at home and have a great time.  That’s what being at the Lake is all about.
